TCAG New Technologies Seminar: Accelerating Genomics with the DNAnexus Platform
TCAG, OGI and DNAnexus will be co-hosting two seminars on Thursday September 26 in MaRS TMDT Room 14-203. The first (10:30 a.m.) is tailored towards a bioinformatics audience and the second (2 p.m.) for the software development community. Both seminars are free of charge. No registration is required and all are welcome to attend.
The DNAnexus Platform is a new cloud-based genomics solution that enables bioinformaticians to get results faster, work with collaborators across a variety of expertise levels, and standardize and distribute their workflows. In this presentation, we will cover how features of the platform like a fully configurable and scriptable genomics API, command-line interface and SDKs, and compliance with clinical and diagnostic standards enabled researchers to deploy clinical-grade workflows on DNAnexus.
Presented by: Andrey Kislyuk, Senior Software Engineer, DNAnexus
Time and place: Thursday, September 26 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Room 14-203, MaRS TMDT, 101 College Street
