Toronto Bioinformatics User Group
We are back! Join us for the first TorBUG event of the 2018-2019 season!
On Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in the Red Room (CCBR, 160 College St, Toronto), the Toronto's Bioinformatics User Group (TorBUG) will be hosting our next guest speaker: Juri Reimand, Principal Investigator, Ontario Institute for Cancer Research.
- 4 to 4:15 p.m. - Trainee Speaker: Ibraham El-Hamamy, Graduate Stuent, Stein Lab (CCBR Red Room) will speak on "Tracing the cellular origins of brain tumours using single-cell RNA-seq."
- 4:15 to 5 p.m. - Guest Speaker: Juri Reimand, Principal Investigator, Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (CCBR, Red Room) will speak on "Discovery of cancer driver mutations in the non-coding genome."
- 5 to 7 p.m. Reception
Come be a part of TorBUG. Meet new colleagues, discuss current hot topics over pizza and refreshments, enjoy and partake in your community's bioinformatics network!
