Hot off the press

Drs. Janet Buchanan and Stephen Scherer, The Centre for Applied Genomics at The Hospital for Sick Children, contemplate the effects of structural variation in a new article published in the September 2008 issue of Genetics in Medicine.

The Database of Genomic Variants (hosted by TCAG), which houses all published structural variants described in apparently healthy population control samples, is featured on the cover (a thumbnail of front cover and a link to the database). This is the journal of the American College of Medical Genetics, so it is excellent that TCAG was able to contribute with some Canadian content.
