The Centre for Applied Genomics has moved

TCAG has moved to its new home in the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning (PGCRL) at 686 Bay Street, on the north-west corner of Bay and Elm Streets. The full mailing address is below. All telephone numbers will remain the same, and you can contact facility managers and staff as you have always done. However, there are some important changes:
- Sample drop-off.
PGCRL has more rigorous security than our previous location. When you arrive, you will need to let security know you are dropping off samples for TCAG, and surrender a piece of photo ID for a visitor's pass. You will then be able to enter the building and come to the 13th floor. While this may seem inconvenient, in practise we believe this will work smoothly. University of Toronto campus sample drop-off.
On-campus users can drop samples in the laboratory of Dr. Lucy Osborne, room 7360, Medical Sciences Building (1, King's College Circle). Samples will be picked up daily by TCAG staff.- MaRS sample drop-off.
Users in the MaRS centre can drop samples at the UHN Glass Washing and Sterilization Services, Toronto Medical Discovery Tower, Room 4-409. Samples will be picked up daily by TCAG staff.
TCAG is dedicated to providing excellent experimental and analytical support. PGCRL provides us with brand-new laboratory and office space, better access to SickKids hospital, and greater integration with our Research Institute. Our improved facilities will allow us to provide even greater support to our clients, and we look forward to continuing to serve the community here in Ontario, the rest of Canada, and around the world.
